Let’s play a little game called ten degrees of separation. Sure, it’s supposed to be six degrees, but we’re a marketing shop and take creative license when we need to.

Here goes….Andrew met Cathy in the mosh pit of a Jethro Tull concert. Cathy met Scott Fair at a Harlequin book signing featuring Fabio. Scott met Justin (Tang) in the men’s locker room of the local YMCA. Justin met Matt, but they refuse to tell anyone how, and Matt leaves the room every time the question is asked. Matt and Sara know each other from their days on the roller derby circuit. Sara and Jud became acquainted when both were heavy followers of Susan Powter’s ‘Stop the Insanity’ blog. Jud and Derek met each other through an online dating site, at a time when they were both looking to experiment. Derek bumped into Suzanne at a logging camp in Northern British Columbia where Derek was finding himself (again) and Suzanne was chained to a tree in protest of clear cutting. Suzanne and Scott Lake met in a Prince George jail, though Scott Lake is not his real name.

And what connects them all to Kevin Bacon? He’s never been in any of their kitchens.
