Let’s play a little game called ten degrees of separation. Sure, it’s supposed to be six degrees, but we’re a marketing shop and take creative license when we need to.
So how did this all begin? Oh yes, it started when Andrew met Matt rocking out at a Coldplay concert back when their album “X&Y” was released in 2005. Matt then met Phil at the Friends for Life Bike Rally – a 6-day bike tour from Toronto to Montreal. Phil met Justin (Tang) at a meeting for the Sumatran Orangutan Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to the conversation of orangutans. Justin met Robyn through an ad on Craig’s list for a certain Boston Terrier named Matilda. (Justin was fed up with her constant flatulence, FYI.) Robyn met Mallory at a Chanel runway show in Paris. Robyn was in fashion school in Miami at the time, and Mallory was there representing dot-dot-dot, a trendy fashion blog. If you don’t know, now you know. And Nicole? Well, Mallory and Nicole met on a hot yoga retreat in Costa Rica, where together they met Sehs at a tiki bar on the beach (Sehs was traveling the globe at the time.) Nicole knows Andrew, because he’s a celebrity at Rogers Television where Nicole used to volunteer... But realistically, who doesn’t know Andrew? What connects them all together, you ask? A marketing boutique on Frank Street, otherwise known as The Office, where big things happen.
