Awards

We like what we do. Our clients like what we do.

Normally, that’s enough for us. Sometimes though, it’s nice to get a little extra recognition for the awesome stuff we do.

Here are some of the awards bv02 (and our clients) have received over the years.

Carleton Café

Carleton University wanted to create a strong online community as a means to reconnect with its Alumni, and to encourage members to network and collaborate with each other. Challenges included ensuring an appropriate fit between all previous collateral and their Web-based marketing campaign as well as enrolling as many Alumni as possible online.

Within two months of its launch, the campaign produced more than 350,000 hits and 4,500 individual user sessions, drawing visitors from across the globe including Asia, Africa, the United States, Australia, United Kingdom and the Caribbean - more than doubling the university's expectations for results. In addition, the Carleton Café competed successfully amongst university Web sites, winning a Silver award, beating rival sites from across North America, including those fielded by several Ivy League institutions.

Cybermuse

bv02’s work with the National Gallery of Canada was recently awarded a Silver Medal at the 2009 Muse Awards which are issued by the American Association of Museums Media and Technology Committee. The panel of judges and producers had this to say about Cybermuse:
“The intriguing videos, primary source documents, and activities made this a unique experience. The jurors were impressed with the wide range of resources and the accessibility to the museum’s exhibits and collections which this project provided the museum audience. Also impressive was the attention to detail in providing experiences for a wide range of audience types and ages.”
The jurors felt it was “rich and deep” as well as “broad” and detailed”. One juror expressed he could have spent hours enjoying the site.
