Municipal Global Village

The Municipal Global Village was developed under tight timelines to meet the needs of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities as it prepared for its role in the World Urban Forum. The goal of the Municipal Global Village was to provide timely and compelling information to local government delegates as they prepared to attend the Forum. The site included the design and development of the public site as well as a secure password protected Extranet for members to download sensitive documents. In partnership with Fuse Communications and Public Affairs, bv02 was required to manage a mailing list database for web-based marketing emails to be sent to all members who signed up on-line. With our list management features, email tracking and reporting, Fuse/bv02 made it easy for the Municipal Global Village to communicate with their members. Fuse also facilitated the implementation of polling software for this project. Polling questions were added and managed very easily on a monthly basis. The results were instantly delivered to the site visitors. The site was developed and is maintained in French and English.
