Education

At bv02, we are building bridges between the interests of learning and corporate communities. These connections allow for more collaborative, relevant and complex learning that transforms education and inspires learners through the awesome potential of technology.

By bridging these worlds we aim to help learners of all ages engage in education and to help corporate and public sectors provide practical and valuable resources through their education initiatives.

If you need help navigating an educational system or collaborating with educators, we can help. We add pedagogical strengths to client projects through resource development, training, research and evaluation.

What we do:

eLearning
Design and deliver virtual communities, online learning and eLearning environments. Embracing the power of multi-media rich technology to provide a personal learning space where learners can progress at their own pace, anytime, anywhere. Example: iTeachnology www.isisters.org.

Community Outreach
Develop strategic (corporate, public and non-profit) outreach initiatives to address stakeholder needs. Aligning business objectives of corporate communities with the needs of educators and learners to build win-win, high impact and valuable outreach programs. Example: Family Service Canada www.familyservicecanada.org.

Educational Resources
Development of web and print educational resources and supporting online environments. Resources created are aligned to learning outcomes, include evaluation tools and can be deployed using various technologies based on learner and client needs and resources. Example: Public Works Government Services Canada www.parliamenthill.gc.ca.

Professional Development
Design and delivery of professional development on topics such as the integration of technology into curriculum, community capacity building with technology and building online communities. Example: Nortel LearniT www.nortellearnit.org.

Training
Lectures, conferences and training as coordinator, facilitator and/or presenter. "When Cathy speaks, classrooms listen. The content of her presentation was both relevant to the audience and meaningful to our hearts… her knowledge of business and marketing principals is a compelling combination that is contagious and inspiring."
